The adverbs of place are those adverbs that provide information about the space in which the action of the verb takes place. For example: We live here.
The adverbs of place answer the questions Where? / Where? / Where? since they provide information about the location or direction the action takes.

What role do they play in prayer?
Adverbs of time provide temporal information and modify the verb, therefore they are present in the predicate of the sentence. Within the sentence, the adverbs of time form:
- Circumstantial of place. For example: They can be placed behind. ("Behind" is circumstantial of place)
- Place circumstantial complement. (if they are headed by a preposition). For example: We're going to the south. ("Towards the south" is a circumstantial complement of place)
