The expressions Likewise, Likewise Y Likewise are accepted and used in the Spanish language. However, all three have a different meaning and are therefore used differently.
- Likewise. This expression is used when the action falls on the subject of the sentence, and admits variation of gender and number (itself, themselves, themselves). For example: Thomas wondered Likewise if his behavior was correct.
- Likewise. This expression is used in formal language as a synonym for "also" or "also". For example: The percentage of jobs grew in the last month. Likewise, consumption increased considerably.
- Likewise. This sequence of adverbs is synonymous with "likewise", "also", "in the same way". For example: Do not delay and leave Likewise to greet.
