The Subjunctive mode It is the one used to express possible or hypothetical actions that are not actually occurring. For example: We want to trust In us. / We hope that have heard claim.
The other two ways in which verbs can be conjugated are:
- Indicative mode. It is used to indicate actions performed in real contexts. For example: run, ran, will run.
- Imperative mode. It is used to give orders, requests or advice and it is not distinguished in verbal tenses. For example: run, run, run.
When is the subjunctive used?
The subjunctive mood can be used to:
- Express wishes. For example: I would like us to let's gather everybody.
- Submit an order or order. For example: I ask you to listen.

- Convey feelings in the present. For example: Good that you are here.
