The bisyllable words are those that are composed of two syllables. For example: run (run), singing (singing).

The syllable represents each phonological division within a word. In written language they are letters or sets of letters that, when read, are pronounced in a single voice emission.

Two-syllable words, depending on their stress, may be acute (if their stressed syllable is the last, eg sa-lió) or grave (if their stressed syllable is the ante-to-last, eg be-so).
