The neologisms They are those words or turns that are introduced into a language by force of use, and also to the new meanings that already existing words acquire. For example: click, smiley, browser.
As criteria for the admission of a neologism, in general, it is requested that it be a necessary word, that is, that there is no other word that expresses the same thing and that its sound and formal construction conform to the guidelines of the language to which it is incorporated. The neologisms are undergoing graphic adaptations to fulfill this requirement.
A neologism can emerge as a new lexeme from within the language as a transformation or derivation of an existing one (more common situation), although they are often voices that are imported from other languages: they are called foreigners or lexical loans.

Neologisms are often controversial and resisted by certain cultured or very purist sectors of the language, who believe that they tend to distort it or take away its essential features. Others, on the contrary, believe that neologisms enrich languages by revitalizing them.
It is true that sometimes these terms are not really necessary (superfluous neologisms), but they are often more graphic or summarize in a single word what, to put it in the traditional way, would require several words.
The mass media are great propagators of neologisms, often superfluous, such as "reception" (which has finally been incorporated into the Dictionary of the Royal Academy of Letters).
Likewise, computing has generated many of the neologisms that we use today on a daily basis. The concept of neologism is opposed to that of archaism, which refers to the use of outdated words, which have been left behind in the expressive evolution.
Some believe that this constitutes a loss of language heritage and link it to a lack of reading, especially of classical works.
