They are also known as consecutive sentences, because what is being shown, in short, is a statement and its immediate consequence. The fundamental thing is that the second internal structure of the sentence is dependent on the first.
The element that distinguishes this class of sentences, in all languages, is the connector: the link between the two constructions is given by an element that is the one that shows what kind of relationship is established. In the case of English, the most common are sentences that include the connectors'that ’ Y 'SW', which link the final clause to the main clause.
