The tetrasyllable words are those that are composed of four syllables. For example: concentration (concentration)
The syllable represents each phonological division within a word. In written language, they are letters or sets of letters that, when read, are pronounced in a single voice emission.
Syllables can be stressed or unstressed. The stressed syllables are those that are pronounced with more force in the word, that is, those that are accented. The unstressed syllables are those that are pronounced with less intensity than the tonic ones. For example: AC (unstressed) - the (unstressed) - ba (tonic) - za (unstressed).

Types of words according to their number of syllables
- Monosyllables. They are words made up of a single syllable. In Spanish they are not accentuated, however, if there are two words of the same pronunciation but different meaning, one of them is accentuated. For example: he / he.
- Disyllable. They are two-syllable words. If the stressed syllable is the last syllable they are acute (I look). If the stressed syllable is the second to last syllable they are grave (plate).
- Trisyllables. They are three syllable words. If the stressed syllable is the last syllable they are acute (path). If the stressed syllable is the penultimate syllable, they are grave (they sang). If the tonic syllable is the penultimate syllable they are esdrújulas (page).
- Tetrasyllables. They are four syllable words. If the stressed syllable is the last syllable they are acute (parked). If the stressed syllable is the penultimate syllable, they are grave (kind). If the stressed syllable is the penultimate syllable they are esdrújula (pen).
- Polysyllables. They have five syllables or more. If the stressed syllable is the last, it is a sharp word (planning). If the second to last is the stressed syllable, it is a grave word (anthropology). If the third to last is the tonic, it is a sdrújula word (terrifying). If the one before the third to last is the tonic, it is an sobreesdrújula word (theoretically)
