Is called noun complement to words whose syntactic function is to complete the meaning of the noun they accompany within a sentence.

The formation of a complement of the noun can be different:

• Direct complement. They are words that accompany nouns and indicate some quality. They are adjectives or articles that can be placed both before and after the noun. For example: Maria collects white roses from her garden / The butterflies were resting on the fort.
• Predetermining. This formation is accompanied by a definite or indeterminate article + a noun. For example: Everyone present got a gift.
• Indirect compliment. It is a prepositional phrase with the preposition "of". For example: The toy lion. This type of complement is used for any noun within the sentence, therefore, it can be part of the direct complement (For example: Students from the city of Madrid protested the financial measures taken by the government) or the indirect complement (Por Example: The street dogs barked for hours.
• Apposition. It is a noun or nominal construction that complements another noun word and provides information. It can be of two types:

Specific claim. They are usually proper nouns and are generally found behind the nouns they are complementing. For example: My brother Pedro fell off his bike.

Explanatory clause. Every explanatory apposition is between commas (,) and consists of a noun and a genitive or adjective. For example: Paris, the city of love, received hundreds of tourists this season.
