The personal pronouns are words that are used in speech to refer to nouns without naming them, starting from their grammatical person.
For example: Juan and Ana went on vacation. / They they went on vacation.

Classification of personal pronouns
Personal pronouns refer to the different participants in a speech:
- First person. Refers to the speaker: I (singular), we (plural)
- Second person. It refers to the listener: you (singular), you / your (plural)
- Third person. It refers to an element outside the conversation: the / she (singular), they / they (plural).
Functions of personal pronouns
Personal pronouns can fulfill different functions within the sentence:
