Nouns are words that designate objects, people, animals, places, countries and concepts and that have a real or independent existence. According to their gender, masculine and feminine nouns can be differentiated.

How to distinguish if they are male or female?
- Masculine nouns. They are those that end in the letters O, L, N, E, R and S. Masculine nouns will be accompanied by adjectives and masculine articles. For example: The tree high.
- Feminine nouns. They are those that end with the letters A, D, ON, Z, IS, IE and -um. The feminine nouns will be accompanied by feminine adjectives and articles. For example: The song beautiful.
In addition, there is another group of nouns that are known as ambiguous nouns since depending on the context it can be determined if they are feminine or masculine.
