Characteristics of cardinal adjectives

Cardinal adjectives have a characteristic that they do not share with any other class of adjectives. In the Spanish language, the agreement in terms of gender and number is made between the verb and the noun, and then from the modifiers of each of them.

However, when it comes to cardinal adjectives, the issue is modified and it is the adjectives that force the noun (and the verb) to be modified in terms of number. Numeral adjectives can be cardinal (when they express quantity), ordinal (when they express order), multiples (when they express multiplicity) or partitive (when they express partition).
