The homonymy It is the relationship established between two or more words that are written or pronounced the same, but have different meanings. For example: grate (to crumble) / scratch (to make stripes), call (verb "to call") / call (animal).
Because they do not share semantic features, homonyms have different entries in the dictionary.

Types of homominy
- Homophony Homophone words sound the same but are spelled differently, and have different meanings. For example: go (verb “to go), fence (close).
- Homography. Homograph words are spelled the same and spelled the same, but they have different meanings. For example: Bank (financial entity), Bank (piece of furniture)
