When is it used?
The future simple is used to:
- Make predictions about the future of a certain probability. They can be accompanied by the expression "I think" / I think. For example: I think it will rain tomorrow. / I think it will rain tomorrow.
- Express wishes for the future. For example: I hope I will see him next week. / Hope to see you next week.
- Talk about very likely situations in the future. I will start school tomorrow. / I'll start classes tomorrow.
- Conveying a spontaneous decision or promise. I will fix it. / I will repair it.
- Make an order, through an interrogation. In this case, the translation should not be done literally. Will you answer the phone, please? / Could you answer the phone, please?

Other forms of future in English
Future continuous: It is used to talk about an action that will occur in the future, but will have a duration.
Structure:
Subject + will + verb to be + gerund (ing)

Going to: It is used to refer to the immediate future and to explain future plans.
Structure:
Subject + verb to be + goint to + unconjugated verb

Perfect future: is used to talk about an action that will be completed in the future.
