Structure in affirmative

Subject + will + verb

When is it used?

The future simple is used to:

  • Make predictions about the future of a certain probability. They can be accompanied by the expression "I think" / I think. For example: I think it will rain tomorrow. / I think it will rain tomorrow.
  • Express wishes for the future. For example: I hope I will see him next week. / Hope to see you next week.
