The Letter B It is the second of the Spanish alphabet and the first of the consonants. It is often called be tall, be long or be lipstick, to distinguish it from the V or go short. For example: blanco, busco, atribuir.
This grapheme is associated with a voiced bilabial stop sound, which is represented like this: / b /.
In the Spanish language, the differentiation between the sound of "be" and "ve" has been practically lost, unlike other languages that also use the Latin alphabet, such as English or French, in which the short ve represents a sound voiced labiodental fricative (/ v /).
