The negative adjectives are those words that indicate some negative, pejorative or little accepted quality about the noun they qualify for. For example: ugly, greedy, unpleasant.
They belong to the group of adjectives (that express a quality), along with positive adjectives, that highlight valued or accepted aspects of the noun in question.
However, the negativity or positivity will depend on the context in which it is used and the society within which it is pronounced.
